DESCRIPTION:The Center for Faculty Success\, part of the Office of the Provost in New Brunswick\, announces an orientation workshop for Lecturer Faculty in New Brunswick. Join us for a series of informative sessions and lunch. Topics include strategies for teaching success; understanding resources for supporting student success; faculty governance and professional development. There will be opportunities for networking and community building and connecting to Rutgers resources. DESCRIPTION:Teaching in the online environment means working with a new toolbox in order to help students achieve your learning goals. This 90-minute workshop\, led by Teaching and Learning with Technology (TLT)\, will focus on key considerations to keep in mind when planning active learning experiences online. Attendees will explore practical strategies to make optimal use of synchronous and asynchronous time\, various tools available for each approach\, and best practices for using these tools effectively to support student learning. \nRegister in advance for this meeting. After registering\, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
