In this first gathering\, you will have an opportunity to share how you are preparing for the upcoming semester and learn from others (e.g.\, designing a welcoming\, inclusive syllabus\, building rapport with students\, planning for the first day of class\, etc.).   \nThroughout the fall semester\, there will be monthly gatherings for which you will be asked to submit topics of interest in advance.
