This fall\, join us to read and discuss The Norton Guide to AI-Aware Teaching\, a practical resource for instructors thinking intentionally about how AI is reshaping their courses\, including a Rutgers connection: our own instructors are cited in the book. \nAcross four virtual sessions facilitated by Rutgers instructors\, we’ll work through the book together\, grounding our conversations in real teaching challenges and possibilities. \nSession Dates \nOctober 16: Introduction–Chapter 4\nSession facilitator: Lyra Stein\, Department of Psychology \nOctober 23: Chapters 5–7\nSession facilitator: Josh Gordesky\, Department of Human Resources Management \nOctober 30: Chapters 8–11\nSession facilitator: Anna Kornienko\, Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology \nNovember 6: Chapters 12–Conclusion\nSession facilitator: Douglas Cantor\, Department of Political Science\n***Backup date: Friday\, November 13***\n \nJoin the Group\nThis book club is open to all Rutgers-New Brunswick instructors and staff. We have a limited number of physical copies available to gift to book club members on a first-come\, first-served basis. Additional participants are welcome to purchase their own copies to join. Since space is limited\, we ask that participants commit to attending all or most of the sessions. \nThis session can be applied to Competencies 1\, 2\, and 3 of the Teaching and Generative AI Pathways Program and is open to Rutgers University staff and instructors of all ranks\, appointment types\, and disciplines. \nREGISTER
