SUMMARY:Tea & Teaching with Elizabeth Matto
DESCRIPTION:Tea & Teaching is an informal conversation around all things teaching hosted by Jenevieve DeLosSantos\, Director of Special Pedagogic Projects in the Office of Undergraduate Education. \nJoin us for a “part-two” conversation with Elizabeth Matto\, Director of the Eagleton Institute of Politics about teaching during this challenging moment. After joining us last semester with valuable insights about teaching during the election\, Elizabeth returns to “Tea and Teaching” to share strategies for facilitating productive and respectful classroom discourse from her “Talking Across Difference” initiative. During this moment of continued uncertainty and instability\, helping to create spaces where our students can develop critical thinking skills\, encounter and respond to differing views\, and better understand their own core values is more crucial than ever. We invite you to join us\, regardless of your discipline\, to learn more from Elizabeth and share your own experiences and classroom strategies. \nREGISTER \n
