DESCRIPTION:Join us for the 4th Annual Neurodiversity Summit. In addition to an exceptional keynote speaker and individual workshop presenters and exhibitors\, our event has a dynamic new location: the College Ave Student Center. \nEvent highlights include: \n\nKeynote\, “Neurodiverse and Gifted: Building Supports and Community for Twice-Exceptional Learners\,” by Dr. Orla Dunne\, Academic Programme Manager\, Centre for Talented Youth Ireland\, Dublin City University\nWelcome by Dr. Francine Conway\, Chancellor\, Rutgers–New Brunswick\nRutgers Neurodiversity Advocacy Award presented by Dr. Christopher Manente\nEducational/Informational Sessions on Residence Life & Neurodiversity Dorms\, Academic & Social Support\, Employment Opportunities\, Mental Health Resources\, Clubs & Activities\, Community Safety\nAfternoon keynote\, “Digital Wellbeing: Healthier & Happier Living with Science & Technology\,” by Dr. Elizabeth Torres\, Rutgers Psychology\n\nWe have added even more space for our featured exhibitor tables that will allow a variety of Rutgers units (and some external partners) to showcase their department/unit’s commitment to ensuring greater access for neurodivergent staff\, faculty\, and students. There is no cost to individual units to be an exhibitor at this year’s conference. \nAll Rutgers students who attend and complete a Resource Fair Visitor Card will receive a $20 RU Express Gift Card. Open to faculty\, staff\, students\, and the community.
