In this interactive session\, you’ll explore simple recording practices that improve accessibility from the start\, understand faculty responsibilities for captions and visual descriptions\, and learn how to ensure that instructional videos provide equitable access for all learners. The session will also cover best practices for using Canvas and Kaltura\, working with transcripts\, and knowing when to partner with Rutgers Academic Media for additional support.  \nInteractive Activity: Participants will gain hands-on experience editing captions in Kaltura by reviewing an educational video\, correcting auto-generated captions\, and updating technical terminology\, names\, and acronyms.
