SUMMARY:Incorporating AI in Research\, Literature Review\, and Classroom Assignments
DESCRIPTION:Brought to you by the Rutgers University Libraries: \nIn this workshop\, college students will be introduced to the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) such as ChatGPT and Gemini in research and literature review. Participants will learn how to effectively harness AI tools and learn about different AI applications that can be used in conjunction with library databases. Additionally\, students will be taught how to cross-examine information with library resources and how to ethically use these resources for their course assignments. \nWhile geared towards students\, faculty are invited to attend to see how these tools could be used with students. \nThis session can be applied toward competencies 1 and 3 of the Teaching and Generative AI Pathways Program and is open to Rutgers University staff and instructors of all ranks\, appointment types\, and disciplines. \nFacilitator: Jonathan Torres (Business Librarian) \nREGISTER \nThis is an online event.
