History of the Graduate Student and Postdoctoral Teaching Development Initiative
TIIP’s Graduate Student and Postdoctoral Teaching Development Initiative grew from its predecessor, the TA Project, which started in 1988 as a commitment to enhancing the quality of instruction provided by teaching assistants.
Nearly 40 years later, the thriving multi-faceted program expanded into a broader initiative that now serves both graduate students and postdoctoral scholars at Rutgers-New Brunswick. TIIP is excited to offer teaching development opportunities and help promote evidence-based teaching practices across the New Brunswick teaching community.
