Implementing a Universal Design Approach to Formative Assessment is a virtual session facilitated by University Online Education Services (UOES) as part of the Office of Teaching Evaluation Assessment Research (OTEAR) Classroom Inclusivity Series.

This session will focus on actionable recommendations that incorporate universal design in the development and delivery of formative assessments. Participants will explore instructor- and learner-driven goals for formative assessment, with examples of universal design principles that support those goals. The session aims to brainstorm ideas for enhancing or transforming typical assessment practices.
