Creating Accessible Content [Grad/Postdoc Workshop]

This workshop, facilitated by University Online Education Services, is designed to explore how to design courses and materials that are accessible to all students. We will cover the basics of online accessibility, focusing on best practices for creating accessible course materials such as text documents (Word/PDF), images, and videos with captions. We’ll also go over key accessibility features in the Canvas LMS. This will also help meet the Title II requirement for ensuring digital accessibility by Spring 2026. This session is part of TIIP’s Teaching with Technology certificate program for graduate students and postdocs.
