Supporting Neurodiverse Students
March 13 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm
As college campuses continue to welcome a growing number of neurodivergent students, it’s critical for higher education leaders to rethink their approach to inclusivity and student support. During this session, we will explores the unique strengths neurodivergent students bring to campuses and addresses the challenges they face in navigating college life. Attendees will gain insights into actionable strategies for enhancing accommodations, expanding DEI initiatives to include neurodiversity, and fostering an environment where all students can learn and grow. Fulfills Competency 1.
Facilitated by the Rutgers Health Office of Disability Services as part of the University of Equity and Inclusion’s Classroom Inclusivity Series.
