Tea and Teaching: A Special “Life After Rutgers” Conversation with the Voices of Diversity Student Advisory Board

April 11 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Tea & Teaching is an informal conversation around all things teaching hosted by Jenevieve DeLosSantos, Director of Special Pedagogic Projects in the Office of Undergraduate Education. This is a casual space, meeting monthly for discussion and Q&A with guests.

Join us for a conversation with select members of our “Voices of Diversity” Student Advisory Board about their current thinking on life after Rutgers. From the ever-shifting job market to the impact of AI, to fears of economic uncertainty, and the changing political landscape, students have a great deal on their minds as they make plans for their professional goals. As many of us work with graduating seniors and students seeking career advice and professional development opportunities, join us to speak directly with some of our students about ways we might best support them in their preparation or transition into the workforce.

Three members of our student advisory board, Samahal Waseem (2025, Political Science), Sadhana Vasantha Kumar (2028, Computer Science), and Sam Carhuayano (2025, Environmental Studies & Sociology) will lead us in a candid conversation about their anxieties and their hopes for life after Rutgers. We hope you will bring your tea and your honest questions for our student guests at this last Tea and Teaching of this academic year.
