With all that is happening in our nation and world, how can we cultivate positive learning environments?

The directors of the Institute for Teaching, Innovation, and Inclusive Pedagogy; Special Pedagogic Projects in the School of Arts and Sciences Office of Undergraduate Education; and Inclusion and Faculty Diversity, Division of Diversity, Inclusion, and Community Engagement at the Tyler Clementi Center for Diversity Education and Bias Prevention teamed up to produce a new resource for the Rutgers University – New Brunswick community focused on teaching in the present moment.

This video-based toolkit, accessible by logging in with a Rutgers NetID, supports members of the community leading watch discussions for their units and includes:

  • A 20-minute overview video with recommendations
  • A coordinator guide
  • Presentation slides for community watch sessions

Please note that watching the video and engaging in the discussion can be used for the Competency 2 Workshop requirement of the Level 1 Badge for the Classroom Inclusivity Series.
