
AI in the Classroom: Navigating Tricky Talks with Students

In this online workshop, participants will develop practical strategies for navigating challenging conversations about generative AI with students. Through interactive role-playing and empathy-focused activities, participants will learn how to address AI use in academic settings effectively. The workshop provides a supportive environment for exploring communication techniques, understanding student perspectives, and creating clear assignment guidelines that maintain academic integrity while acknowledging the evolving technological landscape. Participants will leave with concrete tools, increased confidence, and actionable approaches for managing AI-related challenges in their classrooms.
