What’s Working: Rutgers Faculty Share GenAI Teaching Practices (Virtual)
September 19 @ 10:00 am - 11:15 am
Ever wonder how your colleagues are bringing generative AI into their teaching? Join us for a 1-hour virtual panel, where Rutgers faculty will share how they’re using a wide range of GenAI tools. They’ll share not only what tools they’re trying out, but how these tools support their teaching goals. Beyond the tech, panelists will also discuss the conversations they’ve had with students about responsible and ethical AI use, along with the guidelines they’ve put in place. You’ll leave with fresh perspectives, actionable ideas, and a better sense of what is possible in your own classroom.
Panelists:
- Kevin Dahaghi, Sociology Department
- Anne-Michelle Marsden, Department of Labor Studies & Employment Relations
- Dugan McGinley, Department of Religion
- Tatiana Rodriguez, Communication Department
This session fulfills Competencies 1, 2, and 3 of the Teaching and Generative AI Pathways Program.
Audience: Open to all Rutgers instructors and Administrative support staff.
