Reimagining Assignments in the Age of Generative AI: An In-Person Charrette

August 20 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Curious about how generative AI is changing the way we craft assignments? Join us for this hands-on, in-person session (2 hours) where we’ll explore how instructors from different disciplines are rethinking their approaches in response to AI’s growing classroom presence. You’ll reflect on ways to make your own assignments more meaningful, adaptable, and AI-aware, and get valuable feedback in the process. Expect a mix of discussion, idea sharing, and peer-to-peer exchange. To make the most of this session, please bring three (3 copies) of an assignment you’d like reviewed.

This session fulfills Competency 4 of the Teaching and Generative AI Pathways Program.

Audience: Open to instructors of all ranks, appointment types, and disciplines.
