Overview: In this workshop, we will discuss frameworks for setting goals for student collaboration and strategies for building social presence in your course. We will also explore how to select the best instructional technology tools that align with your teaching and learning goals and examine how tools such as Canvas, WeVideo, Hypothesis, and others can support the design of effective collaborative assignments. This session is part of TIIP’s Improving Your Teaching Skills certificate program for graduate students and postdocs.
